Baumatic is set to launch a cooker hood that can change colour like a chameleon for your kitchen through using LED technologies although the Spectrum name seems a tad obvious to us.
Offering a virtual rainbow of colours in just one model, the new Baumatic Spectrum 68cm Cooker Hood is designed to change colour at the touch of a button, or to cycle through an array of striking hues whilst in use.
Baumatic say that the new Spectrum cooker hood model gives people the freedom to constantly re-invent their kitchen space, and to alter the ambiance to suit their mood. Distinctively shaped, with its smooth curved sides, this eye-catching glass hood is a cool white when not in use.
Providing a powerful extraction rate of 750 metres3/hr, the Spectrum has 3 power levels and two energy-efficient, longer lasting LED lights. The Spectrum’s Perimeter Extraction is designed to maximize efficiency as well as to keep the model’s noise level to a minimum.
So far there is no word on prices or availability but we wouldn’t expect this to come cheap until other manufacturers launch similar products, which they probably will.
