Word has reached us this afternoon that Bernstein Group plc have entered into administration under Price Waterhouse, Bernstein Group plc supply the Caremark brand and several “own brand” product names including B&Q.
Thus far little information is available but from a service agent’s perspective it would appear that the administrators will accept invoices for work completed after yesterday afternoon at the point when this happened. Any monies outstanding before that date will not be honoured at this stage.
So far we are aware of at least two agents that have the company on stop and will not progress any repairs until all outstanding accounts are honoured.
From what little information we have it would appear that an official statement will be forthcoming at some point next week to clarify the situation.
Another company is using BGH. Harveys Kitchen is using it, is this ok?

I had an integrated hood installed in the eighties which was supplied by the Bernstein Group PLC, po box 100. Could you tell me if it is possible to obtain a copy of the instruction book. The integrated hood is Type GRO-1N-NN. model: Integrated hood 01/02-800 153/A. If you are not the same people would you know where i can contact them.
