CDA are reported to be relaunching the Matrix brand of appliances that, so far as we can tell, were being used almost exclusively for Wren Kitchens.
The basics are, made to look better, two year warranty and… yeah, that’s about it really although there’s something about quality, reliability and value thrown in there and dedicated engineers.
Thing is, this is a cheap end brand so quality, ehm we don’t think so.
CDA’s Marketing Manager Steve Corbett said to GC that, “We recognised that there was a strong demand for good quality appliances that were instantly available,”
“Builders, house refurbishers, DIYers, first time buyers, buy-to-let landlords and many others often need a product in a hurry. Matrix meets that need with products that look good in any kitchen, perform well and are competitively priced.”
And again with the “competitively priced” which simply translates to, cheap.
For support outside warranty, spare parts or from anyone other than CDA you may well struggle so we’d avoid these for those reasons alone and, given we’ve seen parts for CDA being obsolete after only three years only strengthens that opinion.
