If living in a small apartment means every spare bit of space counts, then a new range of kitchen gadgets could be just the thing.
LG Electronics has unveiled two microwave combination appliances, which merge the oven device with either a coffee brewer or a toaster.
The manufacturer describes the gadgets as “space-saving”, emphasising their use as ordinary kitchen appliances but with a compact design and multi-purpose usage.
A toaster is situated on the right-hand side of the LTM9000, which has a 900-watt microwave and 10 toasting options, with the added benefit of a bagel setting.
Meanwhile, the LCRM1240 places the microwave in the same machine as a coffee maker, which can brew a maximum of six cups’ worth of the caffeinated beverage at one time.
More recently, toasters have been combined with egg-makers or a cooling rack, but these latest products from LG Electronics could be useful for those with a small kitchen or who like to maximise the amount of space they have.
