Two years ago, Electrolux Turkey announced plans to form a new brand for the purchasing process of AEG, a Turkish brand name for durable appliances. The new brand was developed based on a large scale consumer segmentation study.
The study resulted in a double branding as AEG-Electrolux. Electrulux will invest over €70 million in this double-brand.
Electrolux Turkey General Director, Nevio Pollesel, reported yesterday that taking over all AEG rights will provide a huge amount of investment for years strategically and added, “We have merged the brand with the most well-known durable appliances of the world and named it AEG-Electrolux.”
