    Just wondered if anyone has an old imperial size olive for connecting my 35 year old Flavel B700 caravan cooker? I intend to use it at my place in Hungary for summer use. I’m putting in an AGA type cooker for the winter but won’t want that going in warm weather.

    Thanks don. It’s about £6 including post and VAT but I might end up ordering one off them.

    Thanks for the olive, Bryan. Unfortunately it’s too small. I can’t measure the I/D directly but it just fits nicely over a screwdriver bit that measures 0.240″. I would think it is meant to be 6mm (0,236″).

    It’s a 1/4″ from an american installation kit and fitted onto 1/4″ refrigeration pipe.
    Gas pipework isn’t normally 1/4″ but either mm

    Flavel work in metric so my guess is the olive would need to be either 6mm or 8mm?

    Best to order both then you’re covered. 😉

    No, I’ve measured the pipe with a micrometer and it is definitely 0.250″. I might try poking the 1/4″ pipe into a bit of 8mm pipe and soldering round the join and then attach that to the rubber tube that goes to the bottle regulator.
