    Hi All

After my latest visit to the bank with a bag of £200 £1 coins the counter assistant then starts going through them all with a fine tooth comb and then tells me ive lost £18 as there fake.

After a few chosen words ( i’m known for my tact ) 😆 .They then decide that in fact only £10 is dodgy. like it lump it youve lost it.

Looks like i’ll be taking a closer look at them from now on.

we have just checked three coins after looking at the bbc link and lo and behold 1 of them is fake the queens head is offset to the otherside and her majesty is drunk in relation to the centre of the coin ,also the cross is wrong .
Thanks for the tip off Brian

Hi Bryan, that must have been some sump you emptied to get 200 pound coins, or have you been at the meters again?
