    I am in need of a new chest freezer, approx 100 litres capacity.

    I’d really appreciate some advice on which brands to consider, or at least which to avoid.

    Not a lot to choose from nowadays TBH go for a brand you are familiar with like Hotpoint, Bosch, Electrolux or Whirlpool.

    Thank you Don. You’re right, there isn’t much choice for this size of chest freezer, so I have decided to go with the Hotpoint RC17P.

    I can’t see any posts on the UKW forum with regard to this model so am hoping this means that it’s generally problem-free.

    As good a choice as any to be fair, not sold a lot of these, but no reported problems so far so I would say you have made a good choice.
