ParticipantJust a general enquiry.
I have a 32 year old TI Jackson (Electra) compact tumble drier model no. 77CRD, are there any parts available at all for it? Its in perfect working order now and has never had any parts what so ever. Its a smashing little drier, made completely of metal, no plastic it must be bombproof.
It was seeing Madrats old Hoover that prompted me to ask this. Its in the loft now and I forgot about it until today! I thought I might have a go at restoring it, could do with a lick of paint if nothing else.
Thanks very much,
Oliver.

Been looking all over the place and cannot find a thing, dosen’t mean everything is obsolete though. Surely even a belt is avaiable?
Cheers.

The best thing to do is to find a model number for the nearest Creda branded equivalent. Many of the internal parts were probably the same. Some of those early Electra model numbers aren’t recognised anywhere but the Creda ones often are.

Probably the same as the 3kg Creda 375 I would think? The belt and heater are still available and a few other bits I recon. So if you want to recondition it before parts are not an option then now is the time to do it! Appearance parts (i.e door, fascia panel, filter etc) are a no no, but the internal bits can still be sourced from a few places. 🙂

Thank you very much for your replys Tom and Martin, they are most helpful. At least now I know what I am looking at, its not in bad condition, the cabinet could use a paint, but I was thinking of putting it back into full use as my White Knight 84 AW is starting to give up at just over 3 years old, pathetic isn’t it? The Electra although half the size is a far superior drier in every way, even though the heater is a bit fierce on the high setting!
The apperance parts are fine, and if the filter goes it can be used without an it is on the front, providing the machine with no protection only the hose. The door is the solid metal drop down type, abit like the ISE10 machines. The hinges are as good as the day it was bought and so are all the seals, the timer and heat controls work fine and so does the motor. Its far quieter than the WK and doesn’t rattle.
Thanks
Oliver.
