    Help,
I have read similar posts before posting myself and I have tried most fixes for what appears to be a drain problem.
Usual symptoms, wont do a proper wash, when it does it is only on short cycle then ends with 4 flashes on the on/off button.
I have cleaned it out, taken the outlet hose off, taken out the sensor in the bottom of the sump,(Looks like a suppository) cleaned it and put it back, it wasnt very gunged.
This morning I had the machine out and ran it with the outlet hose out of the kitchen door. Appeared to run ok and drain fine….but after it finished I got the 4 blinks back.

Can anyone suggest anything else before I give up and call in Whirlpool?

    Thank you

Will do, but one last hope maybe a faulty water sensor?

4 flashes is no drain detected in the time allowed. It’s usually caused by the level sensor filling up with congealed fat. It’s the black grill next to the temperature sensor you cleaned earlier. It’s a twist fit from underneath if you need to remove it to clean properly.

    Power off, first.
