I’ve been looking at these 4:

    http://www.johnlewis.com/compare-products?1455096[:233454524]=john-lewis-jlwm1413-slim-depth-freestanding-washing-machine-8kg-load-a-energy-rating-1400rpm-spin-white&1627346[:233660507]=bosch-exxcel-waq2836sgb-freestanding-washing-machine-8kg-load-a-energy-rating-1400rpm-spin-silver&1903722[:234312800]=siemens-wm14e462gb-freestanding-washing-machine-7kg-load-a-energy-rating-1400rpm-spin-speed-white&1767290[:234104741]=siemens-wm14q391gb-freestanding-washing-machine-8kg-load-a-energy-rating-1400rpm-spin-white

There is £50 cashback to stay within budget, the Siemens WM14Q391GB is a little over budget but could stretch if good reason for doing so.

    Hi

If you want to stay within budget then the Bosch. If you want more twiddly bits then I would go with the Siemens (same company as Bosch).

The Siemens Wm14e362gb comes with a 5 yr warranty for under 350 quid. I got one from Euronics for 329 (cash) last week.

I couldn’t find that model anywhere, Euronics doesn’t seem to have it, maybe you got the last one.

Bosch Exxcel WAQ2836SGB(£399) vs Siemens WM14Q391GB(£464)

The spec looks identical, is it worth paying an extra £65(+16{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}) for the Siemens 5 year warranty instead of Bosch 2 year warranty?

    £400: Washing Machine?

3 yrs extra warranty for 65 quid has to be a flipping bargain. A no brainer as they say. 😀

Just went to order the Siemens Wm14e362gb from JL and its been removed from the website, sent them an e-mail but chances are they wont be re-stocking if the listing has been removed:

Which would you choose from these 4?

    Siemens WM14E462GB
    7kg Load
    1400rpm
    5 Years
    £419

    Bosch Exxcel WAQ2836SGB
    8kg Load
    1400rpm
    5 Years
    £494

    Miele WDA110
    7kg Load
    1400rpm
    5 Years
    £574

    Siemens WM14Y591GB
    8kg Load
    1400rpm
    5 Years
    £649

    Re: £400: Washing Machine?

The first Siemens is a good all round buy esp with the 5 year warranty.

The Bosch is silver, Bosch usually only come with a two year warranty, worth checking this out before you decide.

The Miele will last longer than the others, the five year warranty is okay but you will need to be prepared for higher price of parts later and being Miele they rarely share service info with the independent sector.

The last of the Siemens as above.

If it were me I would go with one of the Siemens 😀

Cheers Don. The Bosch is 2 years but another 3 years can be had for +£95, the price I’ve given includes the extra 3 years.
