    wondering whether any one else has had a problems with these heat pump type elements failing in weeks, we fitted a new element to a John Lewis dishwasher it failed after 5 weeks, we fitted a replacement and this has also failed after 3 weeks.

    got to be turned on with too little or no flow

    has the relay on the board got a fault ?

    Also worth checking that the start capacitor is within specifications.

    going back next week with a another heater will check both suggestions.. many thanks for the advice
