500mm wide fridge/freezer

Hello. I am looking for a tall freedge freezer 500mm wide.
I only have 50cm of space for my fridge Freezer.
Currently I have an “undercounter” fridge sitting on top of an undercounter freezer. They are both Hotpoint First Edition models. Total height of these is around 170cm. Now I make you laugh: I also have a third undercounter fridge sitting on top of the 2 !! (I know!) – I have been using this solution for years, now I renewed the kitchen, unfortunately I thought the 50cm wide size was a standard size, so I still have 50cm of space for the fridge. Now I discover there are no tall fridges freezers of that size. Hence coming here and asking if anybody knows. I want to get rid of the third fridge because it looks horrible, but I need more fridge space, I thought I could buy a 70/30 fridge freezer, 50cm wide and tall… very tall. If you are aware of a solution for the 50cm space I would appreciate. Thanks.

Hi

Sadly in the 50cm width there is very little out there as you have already found. The tallest anywhere is 150cm ish which is as good as it gets.

So thinking outside the box a little, could you either expand the current space by getting the kitchen fitter back? Or could you cope with a small fridge freezer in the kitchen and have another one say in a garage/ shed or spare bedroom?

Thanks Don. Unfortunately I live in a flat, small kitchen, no garage 🙁 When I’ve redone this new kitchen few months ago It was a little stupid from me to assume 50cm was a standard size for tall fridge-freezers. I think I will re-instate the 3rd under-the-counter fridge on top of the 2 already have now, looks horrible but will serve the scope space wise. Thanks
