55cm freestanding hob + oven – LPG

Hey all, long time lurker taking advantage of all the advice, but I’ve finally got a specific query that the search function can’t solve!

My in-laws are after a replacement freestanding hob/oven. The requirements list is as follows:

Hob – LPG 4 burner
Oven – LPG or electric
Max 55cm width
double oven (i.e. top & bottom)
Lower oven min usable volume 70L (for the christmas turkey!)

I’ve been doing some research and have yet to come up with an LPG specific one that fits the bill, though a lot of mains-gas ones do. Research suggests that conversion kits are available for some, but not all, but it’s pretty hard to find a definitive list! Anyhow, answers gratefully received,

Sadly that’s a 60cm wide and dual fuel Martin 😉

55cm wide cookers are rapidly becoming as rare as hens teeth, only the New world 55TWLG ticks all your boxes. Zanussi and Belling still produce a 55cm wide model however a phone call to them may be needed to ascertain whether or not they can be converted to LPG.

Then you have Hotpoint who say their models can be converted but they do not produce a 55cm wide model anymore. Cannon produce the Connemara which is LPG but only made in a 50cm width.

Bit of a minefield I know but it’s worth taking the time to research as much as possible in order to get it right.
