ModeratorDoes anyone know of another source of these capacitors used on Hotpoint/Indesit pcbs?
To buy them from Farnell now I would need to order over 60 to be allowed to pay by credit/debit card.
Checked Maplins online and they don’t list that one as far as I can see. 🙁
Jim.

They will do Don, also lots available at that price at Amazon, thing is they are less than 30 pence each from Farnell, just not sure I will be able to use 60 of them before I retire. 🙁 Perhaps I should buy a huge quantity from Farnell and sell them at three or four times the price on Fleabay. :rolls:

have some spare here if you want them Jim, also worth noting I had one the other day with the adjacent 470uf cap also domed so carry then as well now.

Thanks for the offer Mark, I have picked some up from the local Maplins but even they are nearly three times the price of Farnell. 🙁
Did two in one day last week, no sign of doming on one of them either.

What boards/models are they for Jim? What symptoms does a failed cap show? Is it fairly straightforward to change?

Those from RS are a very good price, most of the ones on Fleabay are way over Farnells price.
