    Hi all,

    I’m on the lookout for some replacement 8-8.8 aluminium lokrings. As far as I’m aware these are only used on a selection of Whirlpool manufactured products (to join the aluminium suction line to the port on a new compressor).
    Does anyone know where I can source these from? Or does anyone know of an alternative that can be used and has been proven (ie 8-9 aluminium lokrings for instance)?
    As an ex-EAC engineer, we used these all the time, but it seems many of my ex-EAC colleagues are having the same problem trying to source them.
    Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

    I get mine direct from Lokring in Huddersfield, and I’ve only ever used them on Whirlpool f/f.

    Cheers Kevin,

    I’ll email them tomorrow. Do you use the 8-8.8 aluminium lokrings on Whirlpool appliances or do you find that another size still works (ie 8-9)?

    Hi Mark,

    I do use aluminium lokrings 8/8.8 without trouble, apart from cutting the tube without crushing it.
