Hi,
I notice that only a few vacuums are mentioned favourably on this forum – sebo and meile being dominant. Nilfisk has put up a very good video showing the best points of the VU500 but I can’t find any user reviews on the machine. Anyone have a points to make?
I would have thought that having a brush whirring around in the head would interrupt the air flow in an upright. If a cylinder machine such as the new Truvox VtVe has enough deep cleaning power to match an upright then I would probably go for that.

Nilfisk has never managed to make inroads into the UK domestic market even if you Google the VU500 there is very little reference to it.
The argument of upright versus cylinder has raged for decades and there is plenty of info via Google.
Sebo are still the best cleaner on the planet IMO.
