City Link in administration.
Nearly 3000 jobs to go but most employees did not find out until Christmas Day on the news.
Great timing and a nice Christmas present for there employees after they worked hard on the run up to Christmas.
I wish them luck in finding new employment in the new year.
The work has to go somewhere so let’s hope they can get work with another courier.
The trouble is they did not move forward like DPD who keep you updated with a one hour slot for delivery and you can also track the delivery.
I know it is not so nice for the drivers being tracked but it is the way technology has progressed and the customers expect this type of service now.
