Been to an Ariston A1436 today. The valve had come apart inside the machine flooding the utility room, the machine was not being used at the time, luckily the customer was in and heard the bang when it went.
It appears you cannot buy the valve on its own as it comes complete with dispenser box. This is fine if it is a modification but the picture on the Connect Website looks the same as the old one 😥
Any info on this would be good
    Thanks

Part number is C00115437. I have had one fail like this on a Hotpoint machine. It looks as though the original Indesit valve & dispenser assy is not quite long enough for the Hotpoint WMA style cabinet so they glue an extra bit on the end of the valve which came adrift. 😥

Thanks for your reply Jim but that part number you gave me comes up as a dispenser door. I believe the correct part number is C00115441.
As this new part seems the same as the old one so likely to happen again I have fitted the straight end of the fill hose to the end of the valve just inside the machine (machine is not under work top and can be kept well clear of wall)
Always believe in working to the book but in this case I will sleep easy feeling sure my mod is a better bet than Aristons 😉
