a1636 intermittent fault

flashes top two lights, i brought it in off rent checked it over generally and put back on test ….it works fine. I noticed earlier forums say possible carbon brush issues any other suggestions welcome thanks

Comms error – cabling between boards – usual shoddy Indesit electronics.
