Got a softwave washer dryer thats giving me a headache!!!

Customer reports spinning on wash, sure enough the tumble is giving spin speed.
Checked the usual suspects, tacho and wiring, loom and in the end tried it with another motor as I could find nothing amiss. Fault still there…change timer…..fault still there.
Given the customer a loan machine and taken his back to the workshop.
Found the element was o/c …change that….fault still there. Dryer element low res, disconnect…..you guessed it. Sometimes gives ten or twelve tumbles before it happens, then every other tumble. currently one way good one way spin.
    Its all getting a bit 😕 😉 😡 😕 😉 😡 😕 😉

    Any ideas

    Tony,

Well I will give you 10 out of 10 so far for trying 🙂

Its got to be a connection to tacho problem surely 😕 Those motor plug connectors (the crimped jobs) are very suspect at this stage I reckon 💡 But I’m sure you must have given them a good tug whilst it was tumbling normally, if not, try just that 😉

You’ve changed the Timer/Module Unit and Motor to no effect so it has to be a connection between the two….hopefully

    Fingers crossed for you 🙂

check the 2 wires on the oob switch on the front of the tub you can get some wierd faults if they short out on the metal cable clamp! worth a look
