    Hi,

My AD8322 Diplomat Dishwasher washer packed up and from browsing here it seems I needed a new circulation pump. I ordered and recieved (very promptly) a new pump, 481236158434.

Checking out the article: Big Askollwhich describes the problems associated with the original motor. The last image shows the new pump plus a small bag containing what appears to be a couple of screws, a clip and a white round ‘something’. My order was missing this bag.

Is this something that I need in order to replace the original pump? Should it have come with the pump or did I miss ordering something?

Not taken the Dishwasher apart yet, are there any ‘gotchas’ relating to this model? Or is it reasonably straight forward?

    Many thanks for any help.

    Cheers

    Mark

    Re: AD8322 replacement circulation pump.

    Hi,

An update – Looks like I’m okay on the parts. Just received the following reply to a direct email from UK Whitegoods:

Whirlpool are no longer including these in with the motor but you shouldn’t really need them to be honest. Carefully remove the existing clip and it will be re-usable. The screws are already fitted in the dishwasher chassis normally, if not a couple of standard self tapping screws are all that is needed.

Super fast reply as well!! Very impressed.
