I HAVE NOTICED STEAM COMING OUT MY DISHWASHER EVEN THOUGH THE DOOR IS FULLY SHUT. I PRESUME THIS IS RELATED TO A FAULTY SEAL. IT WOULD APPEAR THAT THERE IS A SEAL ON THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR AND ANOTHER ONE ON ROUND THE SIDES AND TOP OF DISHWASHER. THE TOP AND SIDES SEAL LOOKES EASY TO CHANGE, HOWEVER WAS WONDERING HOW TO CHANGE THE BOTTOM SEAL. HAS ANYONE HAD EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM?

Steam escaping is usually because the closing loop which the door shuts into has pulled forwards on its mount and the door no longer fully closes.

IS THE MOUNT EASILY REPOSITIONED BACK TO IT ORIGINAL POSITION ?

I think there’s some adjustment on the top of the machine. You can check the hypothesis by setting the machine off, waiting until you can hear the water circulating, and the pushing the top of the door inwards – if it gets quieter, the latch needs pulling in a bit.
