    I bought the unit with my house from the previous owner. the compressor is running full time and the freezer is a very cold fridge, and the fridge is cool!. I assume the gas has gone/going for some reason. Can anyone recommend where I can get help from. I am in Hemel Hempstead.
    Most menders dont appear to deal with American units

    Hi Nick,

    If you go to Repairs@ and select another manufacturer you should get FFR, I forgot Admiral as they are American and there’s not too many of them around. Plus with Bradshaws supplying spares they ain’t cheap either.

    However Bryan at FFR should be able to sort you out no problem.

    Use Maytag as that is listed and is essentially the same brand 😀

    Many thanks to the site. Bryan himself came and did the repair. At least I know where to go if I need someone who knows what they are doing. This is avery useful site!
    I even know where to find the model number now 😛
