Admiral fridge freezer

Hi
I have an Admiral side by side American fridge freezer. A few weeks ago the fridge bit stopped working. We got an engineer out who replaced the defrost element and a little bit attached to it. all was good until yesterday when the fridge stopped working. there is also a clicking noise sometimes when using the water and also just on its own. Also once the code “d” came up on the screen. We are wary of getting an engineer again as it is past its warranty and we dont want to spend a fortiune – the last callout was £250.
Any advice? ideas?

Clicking when using the water and ice is usually caused by a faulty PCB in the freezer door (depending on which model).

If you are having the same symptoms as before “fridge stopped working”, call back the engineer.
