ParticipantHI, I AM NEW TO THE FORUM, PLEASES CAN SOMEONE HELP, MY ADMIRAL DEFROSTS EVERYTHING IN THE FREEZER AND FRIDGE SIDE IS NOT COOL ALSO. DONE ALL THE TROUBLESHOOTING ETC CLEANED COILS , DEFROSTED IT FOR 24 HRS, THEN IT STARTED WORKING AGAIN FOR A FEW DAY NOW SAME PROBLEM DEFROSTING AGAIN. WHEN I SWITCH IT OFF AND ON AGAIN IT STARTS TO WORK. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO LOCATE THE TIMER BUT CANT FIND IT TRIED BEHIND THE LIGHT HOUSING IN THE FRIDGE SIDE AND BEHIND COMPRESSOR. WHY DOES IT WORK FINE AND THEN STOPS WORKING AGAIN PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP. 😕

Sounds like a defrost heater defect.

Hi mrdad, sorry I don’t know anything about the problem you have but if you are new to forums you should know that using capitals (caps lock) is seen as shouting and many people find it rude.
I don’t as everyone has to learn this tinterweb stuff 🙂

Hi
If you know how to use a meter then you can check the components as it could be the heater or defrost termination sensor or overload or timer or in fact the fan ass in the freezer. if you Cant then you will need an engineer to find which is faulty.We can only guide in the direction of where the common faults are by the symptoms given.
