ParticipantHas anyone any experience with an Admiral aav2200agw – I went to one and the customer said at end of cycle machine is in middle of room – checked springs etc – all o.k – rear feet seem to have a problem – left hand foot was locked in position with about an inch protruding from cabinet while right hand one was locked in position hard up into cabinet – freed feet and set both hard into cabinet – customer phoned later to say same fault – went back and both feet had returned to previous setting so m/c was rocking all over the place – any ideas ? cant seem to get feet to lock

If I remember correctly the rear feet are self leveling. So all you have to do is make sure the front feet are level, then tip machine forward and let it drop on to the rear feet, and the machine should be level.
Note; when its tipped forward the rear feet should have free up and down movement.

Is it really violent when it goes into spin and, when stationary, if you move the tank to the left by hand, does it stay there or return to the centre?
If so its probably the snubber thats worn p/no 21001161.
However, you will need specialist tools to remove and replace this as it as a ruddy big spring coiled under tremendous tension.
Without the correct removal tool is just suicide. At best it will launch itself through the ceiling, at worst your face 😥Greg

franz, don’t be frightened of this job mate, it’s fairly easy.
you just have to loosen the bolts that are under tension a little bit, don’t fully unscrew them, or you will know about it!
i don’t have the tool and i’ve done quite a few of these.
