adobe acrobat reader problems

i updated acrobat version 9.0 when i tried to install it came up with error 1317 and something about cant create file, i found that apparently loads of others ( on net ) are having the same trouble, any how to cut a long story short after many frustrating hours trying in vain to sort it i found a much better prog if anyone is interested its called ( foxit reader ) and can be dowloaded free from some sites,

Try “foxit reader” Much smaller without uneccessary add ons and very much faster than Acrobat..seconds to download too. I’ve used it for about a year.

Not come across that one, just had a look and it does appear to be very good though. I will give it a go as well, Acrobat is almost as bad a Microsoft for bloatware. 8)

it seems to do the same job as acrobat reader, it opened some pdf files i had sent in an email without any probs
