ADP 8242 dishwasher no heat water

Hi,

I own a siltal BL952 dishwasher that is compatible with Diplomat/Smeg ADP 8242.

The problem I have is that I dont have hot water. Heating element seems to be ok, but I am not sure for one element. I dont know if its a NTC thermistor or a simple thermostat. Its behaviour seems to be NTC thermistor (cold ~8KOhm and Hot ~1KOhm in a small period of time) but in spare part I searched for they call it as cut out thermostat.

Can you help me please ? If it is indeed a NTC thermistor it seems there no thermostat in this appliance or at least I did not find anyone.

It’s a resettable thermostat in the bottom, I think below the heater. Press the red button on it.

This is a newer model. As you can see at the bottom of the appliance there is no thermostat.

It’s not the same as an ADP8242 then. 😉

There is no documentation for that model at all I’m afraid so, I can’t really help you as it’s clearly different in some ways. How, I haven’t a clue.

Adp8242 is referencing in two models. Mine does not have the usual heating element but the newer one that is in-pipe. Where is that thermostat is the diagram?
