    Can anyone help with a diagram for rewiring (Re-attaching Spade connections)to fascia panel on a Diplomat ADP 8242 dishwasher please.

    Hi Dlowes,

    Is this the spades to the main power switch?

    We can’t give you a wiring diagram due to copyright and liable legislation I’m afraid.

    All the wiring is intact attached to the motor, pumpsheatres etc. However the spade connections to the PCB,on/off switch,door mechanism etc need pushing onto the correct terminals.

    I’ve had a look on the MFI disc that I have here and, interestingly, they don’t have a wiring diagram in the information. Not exactly handy.

    If it’s just the power switch you are only making or breaking the circuit which should be reasonably easy to work out with a meter and some time. As for the PCB, these should be “keyed” to only fit one way.

    But if you’re the least bit nervous about working with it, or frightened of making a mistake and blowing something then I’d strongly advise that you seek out an engineer to do it for you who willbe able to meter it all out and get it right. Bear in mind that the PCB in that machine is over £100 to replace.
