Anyone had problems with the door shutting on these things?
It just springs back when trying to shut- i’ve changed the lock and latch to rule them out but still doing it. I can’t see what can be stopping it?
    It’s this type.

thanks Dave, did the baskets thing, feels like plenty of tension on the door from springs. Didn’t check hinges though. Even without tension from anywhere else, the lock should still clamp the latch with hand pressure on closing.I’ve tried the latch in different positions also. I’ll go back and have another look!cheers

had a few hinges bend and it causes this problem so its likely door has been strained. door wont feel any different as it will not affect the springs etcetera but the hinge reaches its closed position before the latch engages. After that your just bending things to try and close it and as you realise it wont

Its like electrofix says, its either bent hinges or the baskets are in wrong way around / loose wheel stuck in the runner.
The door may have been stood on by a child when open. I have in the past bent them back into shape a little by placing a small handled screwdriver next to the hinge at the bottom and pressing the door against it, pushing the door at the top. Repeat for both sides. Not the ideal solution but would give you an idea if it is the hinges or not.

It will be the long hinge bar twisting, used to get it loads of times on the Indesit dishwashers connect part no 5031680016468 JJ.
