KeymasterI’m getting a bit jarred off with this nonsense…

This is allied to Megan Technical, over twenty adverts for engineers spanning years and it’s all that they ever contribute, adverts.
This one was warned in advance but they posted it anyway and I have removed it because, so far as I’m concerned, this is a national now as their PL certificate lists them as being….
RSL Enterprises Ltd and Associated Companies
Respond Services Ltd
Respond Laundry Services LLP
The Appliance Warehouse Ltd,
Trade Grade Ltd
Baynes Place Management Services Ltd
Award Appliances Ltd,
Megan Technical Services Ltd
Megan Appliances Ltd
A1 Technical Services Ltd & A1 Kitchen Appliances
The Domestic Appliance Company Ltd
Enderby Appliance Care LtdAshbridge Services
To my way of thinking, that’s not an independent.

Yeaaaaa go Kenneth, go Kenneth, go K
Well you get the message!
A member posting the odd one off I have no problem with.
Loonies like this whom are taking the urine can go copulate unless they help pay for the service provided, cos I am damned sure all the local press and trade mags make a charge.
Rant over

That was exactly my thinking and, in the spirit of full disclosure and because the general populace don’t seem to get it, here’s the body of an email sent to them earlier…
Myself again! wrote:Hi Lynn,
We’ve had to change it for employed engineers, for agency work it’s a different thing entirely.
Otherwise we’d have had continual adverts from Currys, Indesit, 0800, British Gas, Bosch, Miele and others and all have been told exactly what you have. I’m afraid and, we can’t have one set of rules for one national or large organisation and a different set for someone else just because we don’t like them or whatever. RSL is now, more or less, a national to all intents.
Some of those I can tell you were specifically looking for engineers in your area of operation as well as many others covered in the RSL group so, I’d have been in a position where they’d be poaching from you, you’d be poaching from them and all the while UKW is part of the problem and not earning a bean from providing that service to any. Hardly a compelling prospect and one that’s been ever so common for the past few years.
My take on it now is, everyone can go squabble elsewhere about who can advertise what or pay me for the trouble of having the forums choked up with adverts and the ensuing derogatory comments from the small repairers that can’t compete with the salaries offered by the big boys to bribe their staff away. I have told those mentioned, or recruitment agencies operating for them, and more exactly the same thing.
Engineers looking for jobs are, frankly, spoiled for choice and especially so if they are Gas Safe and/or refrigeration trained.
Basically, they can all bog off.
You’re absolutely on the money Carl, the odd one from the guys and small companies I’ve no truck with whatsoever but all the above and some others are taking the proverbial with it.

Can we keep an eye on NationalAppCare please?
If they advertise in any way at all just zap it. I think that they may try to do that but possibly in a clever way or, they’ll think they’re smarter than we are.

National Appliance Care are recruiting. Due to our success delivering excellent service standards for the chargeable sector, we have agreed a deal with a major appliance manufacturer to support their current network and offer an alternative to service delays and therefore wish to recruit more engineers that are driven by success.
For more information, please contact us on 01924 669429.
Rejected.
Apart from it likely being a load of BS, it’s an advert.

We only posted this recent news on UKW to prove a fact to someone else that this would be deleted / dis allowed even if it were in the interest of most to see…
You are Soooooooooo predictable and thank you for your participation 🙂
Kind Regards.

Thanks, admin@ukwhitegoods.co.ukThat proves beyond any doubt that the account is either not in use by the person who it is supposed to be or, it is shared.
It breaches the site T&Cs.
Now, should I ban him or not?

Your call, 🙂 As long as we can keep a close eye on him, NAC, Jamie Parrie and the other bloke who’s name escapes me ATM, the one who was a big cheese a various multi nationals before becoming Ade’s right hand man. :rolls:
He will probably only try and register again. 😥

Jamie Parrie account, trade access removed as I am not sure it should have that but, I am 99.99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure it’s Adrian.
He can reapply of course and, probably would/will in some form or another but at least we won’t have to be bothered with it for a while.

TBH I’m just sick of him getting pi$$ed up on a Thursday and Friday night then coming on here and spouting his rhetoric and bile, in the process putting everyone out somewhat.
Then if he gets the bit between his teeth, he’s often at that all weekend. Usually and almost exclusively late at night and with the sole aim of winding everyone up or, rather me.
I’ve just had enough of his childish sh1te.
