    Re: Advice on door weight

Apparently it is a Beko DIN28R22.

Deleted your other post in General Enquiries, best to keep to the one thread. đŸ˜‰

Personally, if the instruction manual says max load is 6kg and you do fit your 7kg door panel then any subsequent damage to the door or hinges will not be covered by manufacturers warranty.

That’s not an integrated appliance then so fitting an outer decor panel in a no no anyway.

    Hi Silver lady

Have just deleted your new post asking the same question. Best to keep it to one thread to avoid confusion.

    Re: Advice on door weight

But will it make any difference to the door closing it’s only a couple pounds over the handles on are quite heavy as there’s two solid stainless steel (door plus drawer front) could maybe put lightweight handle on .? I did not realise when I ordered that doors could be a problem

    Re: Advice on door weight

If the door is too heavy then it can slam down, the springs and ropes in it may not cope and over time they will break sooner than might otherwise be expected also.

    Basically, that’s what’ll happen.
