AEG 14850

When this machine is tuned on, at any programme it displays 1200 spin, the signs for pre-wash, wash and spin illuminate and the door lock. It bleeps 3 times repeatedly and if you press any button the door lock flashes and it bleeps fast until you take your finger off the button. Approx. 2yrs old.
Any AEG engineers out there? Don’t think it’s the door lock itself as it alarms as soon as a programme is selected.

Looks like this machine has an anti flood device in base – have you checked that ?

Just had a thought. Don’t these have a door lock over-ride? Unlocked by pressing 2 buttons or something?

No! But can a suggest you megger the heater though. Sounds like duff heater to me. 😉

three beeps indicate a 30 code which heating is one off, have you put it into diagnostics to see if there is a code?

No I haven’t, to be honest I wouldn’t know how to.
