Called to machine as it was not letting water in when it was drying.
Changed the valve assembly, have checked condenser unit all clear the new valve has the same colour restrictor as the old one machine pumps out ok.
Now clothes are wetter than when they wet in!
Any help or suggestion much appreciated.
Thanks BernieMarch 4, 2014 at 6:14 pm #410656Seamy

Is fan running ok, at full speed? If fan impellor is blocked up it may reduce the airflow likewise belt wear. Only problem i’ve had with these has been heaters low, blocked condenser, lower NTC on hose to tub from condenser, valve coil going o/c.
Have you checked that its drawing correct current on drying setting, to see if heaters are on when they should be?March 5, 2014 at 12:01 pm #410657Bernie

Are you sure the correct inlet is charging and that it is not being supplied too much water?

Clapped out pump I expect, appears to work OK but after a while overheats and sticks. If it is one with an integral TOC then that is even more reason to point the finger of blame on it. 😉

As I said in my post, I checked the new valve had the same colour restrictor as the old one, and it does. Do not know what else I can do regarding that.
I did wonder about the pump although it appears to work ok but it might be as you say martin Clapped out. I will have a look at both possibilities when I go back
Thanks to you both for your replies
