AEG 31004W Double oven temperauture

Hi

I have a newly installed AEG 31004W double oven and it doesn’t seem to reach a temperature in either oven that I think it should! It also doesn’t get very hot when grilling.

As examples on full grill the sausages were not fully cooked after an hour, jacket potatoes in the fan oven were just about cooked after 2 hours at 200C and the top oven is also on the slow side.

Any suggestions as to where the problem may be? I’m sure it’s not just me getting used to it!

Sounds like it’s shutting off early – cycling on the safety rather than the operating stats. Can you hear the cooling fan running – or feel the draught? Insufficient airflow through the oven casing can cause similar problems.

Be warned that whilst there may well be a problem with the appliance, if it is down to installation error they will charge you!

Otherwise it’s under warranty, so get them out to it.

Fan seems to be running ok – plenty of air comingnthrough the top vent.
