    Hi,

I have a an AEG 50750 built-in dishwasher. A pipe was blocked, which I managed to clear. Now when I restart the machine I get the 3 warning tones with the pump going continuously, even though the obstruction was cleared. From Google I guess this means the flood protection is active.

How can I reset the flood protection?

    Thanks in advance,

    elp

If you can find the PNC (product code) from the rating plate I can check if there is a reset procedure for this model 🙂

The only mention is how to cancel a cycle, this is done by holding the relevent programme selection key in for + 3 seconds but that is probably described in the user manual.

If that doesn’t work, the base is probaly flooded with water. Try tilting the dishwasher and see if any water runs out (towels handy ;))

Power off if going further or check the repairs@ link below for an engineer if you get stuck 🙂

    Re: AEG 50750 flood protection

    Thanks for the feedback!

The base was indeed flooded with water. As the dishwasher is built-in, I syphoned the water out, dried any remaining water with paper towels, and now it’s working fine.

I hope this will help someone else.

Keep an eye on it – you may yet need to play “hunt the leak”
