Dishwasher is just over 5 years old and now out of warranty. A few months before the warranty ran out there was an intermittent noise coming from the area of the water cassette on the left hand side of the macine (viewed from front. The buzzing noise would continue for about 10 minutes before the wash cycle completed. Fault occurred every few weeks. Naturally when service engineer visited there was no noise!
Four days ago the dishwasher brought up the error code 30 and has continued to do so. I’ve stripped the machine down and there is no sign of water inside and everything seems clean. Next thoughts are to check the drain pump for a blockage and maybe check the inlet cassette as I also occasionally now get a code 10 error?
Any advice would be welcome, I’ve seen reference to a polystyrene float that triggers the anti-flood device but so far have been unable to locate it?

    Thanks Seamy,

Must be more long sighted than I thought, couldn’t see it after having removed both side panels 😕

Take the base cover off it and you’ll see it?

    Thanks again Seamy,

To do this presumably I lie the dishwasher on its back and remove the whole base? Or are you referring to the front base panel behind the plastic “kick board”? I’m going to have another look this evening as I want to remove the pump to check for any blockage?

After taking the water out from sump inside dishwasher, best to use a sponge.
Lay appliance carefully down on its side on a bath towel for instance.
See base of appliance, most of these made after ’07 I think have removable base panels.
    Power off of course !
Theres a solenoid on the regeneration tank, (salt resevoir) it normally would be buzzung slightly during end of wash.
