AEG 72630 drum not agitating but spinning OK

Hi

AEG Lavamat 72630 Update washing machine

The washing machine fills with water but the drum does not turn during the wash or rinse cycles. It spins fine though.

After the machine fills there is a constant waterfall of water from the top of the drum but it is recirculating water rather than new water. I assume that the machine constantly circulates the water during the cycles and that it only appears as a waterfall because the drum is not turning.

What is the fault please?

Assume your saying the drum does turn on spin so we can rule out motor problems

so i would head for the board and look for bad solder joints on relays

also we would need complete model number and Pnc number to look any circuits up

Yes it spins fine. Not sure what a Pnc number is but I cant find any serial no. etc stcker on the machine. Its a AEG Lavamat 72630 Update model. Could it be the water level switch not working properly?
