AEG 74620-W Door wont open (pnc 91400130400)

Am I being a numpty (No question mark)

Door wont release at end of cycle – new interlock fitted, still wont release.

Door locked light stays illuminated I can only open the door via the release tag next to the filter, after switching machine off.

This interlock is one I have not seen before so a little confused! there is no pressure tube attached and the machine works fine apart from this problem.

Help PLEASE 😳

Think you will find the pressure switch sticking. It will be one of the higher levels. The machine still thinks it has water and will not release the door.

Thanks for the superquick reply! I will give that a go tommorow and post back. I suppose stupidly discounted the pressure switch because there is no hose to the interlock 😆

Hold on……. If it thinks it’s full, it won’t spin. If it spins, it knows it’s empty…..

I have had this before. It was a high level contact that was sticking. I think contacts 31-32-33. If I remember right it would stick only after a heat pause. Which meant it would seem ok if I only tested it on rinse and spin. The spin inhibit is taken from contact 11-12-13. The machine would still spin as the low level contact was ok.
