    this machine starts motor spins then stops

    fault code e52 no tacho impulses

    checked motor and wiring both ok

    am assuming new board or can they be repaired ?

    looking for confirmation of my diagnostic in case i have missed something stupid

    Has the motor tacho come loose, a very common fault on Zanussi machines.

    checked tacho magnet was loose but still turns and gives output

    It should not be loose, it needs to be very tight. It will often unscrew and push the tacho coil of the end of the motor on some machines.

    Gives the exact symptoms you describe.
