I am in the process of buying some appliances for myself. As I don’t work on refrigeration I could do with some advice from those that do.

I am considering full height integrated fridge and Freezer (separate appliances)and want to know if the above freezer is OK or should be avoided.

I prefer to go for Bosch or Siemens but a Siemens integrated freezer of this size is about twice the price and I understand that the Bosch-Siemens frost free are prone to the rear ducts freezing up and requiring 24 hours to defrost periodically.

I can be flexible with the units I buy and they don’t have to be integrated, I can go Stainless Steel side-by-sides instead.

Any other suggestions are welcome particularly which makes are the more/less reliable.

Avoid stainless as they always look yucky with fingers marks. Most on here shout the praises of Liebherr by the way 😉
