AEG Arctis -defrosts spontaneously then refrosts

The alarm went off on my 5 year old Arctis 75238-GA1 suddenly a month ago and the temperature showed substantial warming. An error code F5 appeared.
I substanially emptied the freezer and the next morning it worked perfectly. This has occurred twice since.
I called an engineer who won’t come as they say there’s no point if it is working now. I am now defrosting it and no water has appeared from the front although I haven’t pulled it out.
What should I tell the engineer?

Can you give us the PNC number as, from what I can see there isn’t an F5 error, the fault codes against that model should look like this.

the code definitely didn’t look like those you provided the link to but I unfortunately didn’t write it down carefully at the time and it’s intermittant.
