AEG B4100-1 Cooker. Light and fan not working

i have a AEG B4100-1 cooker. recently the light and fan have stopped working after the oven has been on for say about 15/20 minutes. the oven would then go cold. if left it will start again but after a period of time the fan and light will go off again along with the heat.

i’ve seen a few post with something similar. just not with with model number. wanted to make sure i ordered the right part from here. 😀

any help?

Hi Michael,

It sounds like a classic case of the cooling fan control being faulty. The part that you will almost certainly need is this one.

When it trips it shuts the oven down just as you describe and a very common issue.

The safety thermostat has been known to cause the odd issue as well but not nearly as common a point of failure as the cooling fan control thermostat.
