aeg b5741 oven

this oven heats to 160 and will not get any hotter, its not cutting out but no hotter than 160, any advise what to look for

I would run the unit with the back off to see if the element is going open circuit when it gets hot

also there are 80 ovens with this model number so a complete model or pnc would help to identify it

the oven I looked up had convection and fan oven facilities. if yours has and you are selecting convection oven then if the floor element fails is will fail to get to heat properly
