    As the oven is not heating at all (except the grill element), I’m assuming the element has gone. As I only spent £100+ repairing a switch a few months ago – I’d like to be able to replace the element myself. Can anyone confirm a) if this is likely to be the problem and b) whether it’s an easy repair on the AEG ovens…

    Can you check that model number please, C2190 isn’t correct.

    It should be around the door somewhere and begin Enr or Product Number Code (PNC).
