AEG Ceramic Hob – Fault

Had a quick search but can’t find much on ceramic hob problems at all.

Basically 2 rings have stopped working they seem to come on but don’t warm up at all, they ‘cycle’ go on and off but never get warm the other 2 were still working but one of them started to do this the other day but seems to be working again now.

Any help much appreciated.

Can’t get the exact model at the moment I am at work but it is a AEG.

Presumably a problem with the energy regulators.

Thanks for the reply I have stripped it down and found the component I think is most likely the cause and I can’t find the part number from it any where on the internet the energy regulators I have looked at don’t look similar either.

Anyway I have bought a new hob now but I have re-assembled the old one and it now appears to be working 😕 didn’t change anything just cleaned the inside and rebuilt it. Suspect it will pack in again at some point so now I have a spare hob, may sell it if the AEG keeps working for a few months.
