AEG competance oven does not turn On

My Aeg oven model B4100-1-A stopped working. Its not heating up, the fan does not turn, and the grill does not heat up as well.
When turning the temperature dial on the right, the temperature light does not cone on. The display come in, as well as the light on the selector dial.
The time has been set and there is no timer.

A few days ago, the lamp stopped working am expecting a new lamp on Monday.

I was suspecting the thermostat was faulty from reading the forums. There was a suggestion to disconnect the oven from the main, remove the cables fromt he thermostat, temporarily connect them together, and turn the oven on again, but this didn’t have any effect on mine.

I am lookig for any help/suggestions to troubleshoot this further. I gate to think that the fan, heating element and grill all went faulty at the same time.

unlikely 2 elements fail

check the clock (if it has one) first. if in auto mode it will stop oven working

Thanks for reply. The clock has been set already manually and there is no timer on. But this did not solve the problem

by the looks of it it has a multi function switch check the contacts for signs of burning

There was no sign of burn or loose clips. Had an engineer come over today. All the elements, thermostat, and cut out switch were fine. He is suspecting the multi function switch to be the problem.

I also got a new light and selecting the light only does not even work.

Now waiting for a new part to come in
