AEG Competance Oven not heating up

Hi

We have an AEG competance oven model number B4140-1

With it set to fan assist baking it does not heat up.

With it set to conventional baking and grill it does heat up.

I can see from other posts that it would seem to be a fan element problem.

I cannot really understand why the conventional elements don’t heat the oven during the fan setting.

Can you advise which element I would need to order?

part number is 8996619136303 fan oven element.

When set to fan it uses a different element to conventional setting.

Thanks for the information guys.

I ordered the fan element that you recommended from spares@ukwhitegoods.

I find that this element does not fit the oven. The bracket for holding the existing one has two holes either side of the connection for screws to retain it.

I can send a picture if required.

The new element has threaded studs?

I will send this one back.

Can you advise me of another element?

From the pnc number, the current p/no is 3871425-10/8. email to Dvae on spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk with that number will get things sorted for you.

Just as an example of how complex this can get, the original part number was:

8996619268-19/7, supereceded to
3192085-05/2, superceded to
3192085-10/2, superceded to
3871425-10/8
