    Afternoon all,

    We have a Competence 3201 B-M oven (PNC 944 181 089) which worked very nicely yesterday.

    This morning not so good:
    When the cooking function selector knob is turned, the oven pilot light comes on, and the fan whirs away in the background, so fine.
    When the temperature selector is turned, nada, no heat is generated in the oven and the grill will not heat up if selected. The thermostat control light remains off.

    I guess this could be very straightforward, so assuming it is, can I fix it myself or do I have to call out an expert?

    Maybe oven element gone..

    Just check that oven is not in Auto cook
    May need to be set into manual mode!

    Not in Auto mode, had a play around with the buttons a couple of times to make sure!

    I dont think its the oven element as when I set the dial to grill mode, which is a seperate element, that does not work either…

    Any other ideas please?
